Job summary:
Network Operations Engineer Ref:- 1064
The role will involve providing lifecycle network infrastructure management from design through to implementation, enabling the company's 24 x 7 mail and web services to be offered to our customers worldwide. The Network Operations Engineer role will be responsible for the day to day administration and maintenance of the company's products and services (email and HTTP filtering) including local and upstream connectivity, traffic management and security, ensuring that the infrastructure is able to meet strict SLAs.
The successful candidate will have a least two years experience delivering email and web services in a high availability environment, detailed knowledge of UNIX/Linux and experience of configuring virtual servers and load balancing technologies. You should possess a satisfactory understanding of security including IPSEC Tunnels and VPNs along with a sound knowledge of CISCO Routers, switches and VLANS. Ideally you will possess CCNA Qualifications and have experience of operating F5 Big IPS & Netscreen firewalls.
